NPAV Labs has recently analysed fake emails having the subject as “Release Incoming Messages”.

It is a trick notification asking user to Release delayed Messages. On clicking, user is taken to a password stealing phishing page which asks for users email password.

This password is posted to the hackers server and saved there to trigger further cyber crime activities. The hackers can use this information to steal sensitive data from users and can launch various attacks causing huge menace.

NPAV recommends users to never trust such phishing emails and never submit sensitive data through them. The data submitted is directly accessible by hackers who have malicious intentions and cause harm to your cyber environment.
