Fake security notifications are being shared via emails by hackers targeting user credentials

Phishing emails are being forwarded by hackers to steal user credentials.

The malicious email contains fake security notification to create a panic among the users. The email alerts the user about some irregular activities being noticed in the user’s account.

Phishing email contains a link which redirects the user to an Outlook login page. The page requests user to enter their credentials which will further get forwarded to the hacker.

NPAV recommends users to stop trusting these fake alerts and notifications. Refrain from submitting any information via these malicious links and never download an attachments from these emails.
