Fake DHL Express phishing email is spreading malicious files through attachments

NPAV research team has recently found a new phishing email scam impersonating DHL Express shipment.

The phishing email states that there is a consignment received at DHL head office for the user. The email requests users to download an attachment that will help the organization in locating the delivery address of the user.

Phishing email requests user to fill out the contact form which has been attached to the email in order to receive their parcel. This attachment is malicious and can cause a huge damage to your network and system.

The second variant of the phishing email claims that the package designated for the user has arrived at one of the local outlet of DHL. This email claims that the organization just needs to confirm the deliver address and some other details and hence, requests users to download the attachment.
