Acer falls victim to biggest ever ransomware attack demanding $50 million

REvil ransomware has attacked Acer and demanded the biggest ever ransom amount of $50 million.

The ransomware gang has stated that they have attacked the company and have been successful in stealing various files and data. Hackers have also shared some images of files that they have stolen as proof of the attack.

The leaked images are for documents that include financial spreadsheets, bank balances, and bank communications. Acer has not responded properly to the queries regarding the attack and has stated that the organization is investigating the issue for security purposes.
