Phishing email with fake mail storage full alert is being circulated by hackers

NPAV research team has recently reported a new phishing campaign launched by fraudsters to trick users.

Phishing email with mailbox storage full alert message is being used by hackers to create panic among users. The malicious email suggests that the email storage of the user account is almost full.

Hackers have alerted users that their accounts will get banned from sending/receiving messages if the storage is not freed immediately. These alert messages are used to raise an alarming state for the users.
