Phishing email with server notification and password expiry alerts are targeting users

NPAV research team has tracked down a new phishing scam launched by hackers to steal user credentials.

The phishing email asks users to update their email address in order to stop its suspension.

If the user clicks on “Update Your Email” option provided in the phishing email, the email redirects users to a login page requesting password for their email id.

The login page used here is a phishing page and is completely operated by hackers. Any input given through this page is accessible to hackers and can be used by them for their benefit.

NPAV recommends users to refrain from trusting these phishing emails as they can be used by hackers to steal valuable and sensitive information. Install NPAV on your devices to keep them safe and secure from all kinds of cyber attacks.
