NPAV research team has reported a new phishing scam using the name of Tata Motors as decoy.
Hackers have recently launched a new data stealing and hacking campaign through Whatsapp and text messages. The message circulated by hackers claim that Tata motors is celebrating their 30 million plus sales and the user can be heavily rewarded.
The link forwarded in the message will take the user to an authentic looking malicious Tata motors web page. The page will then ask user to complete a questionnaire to receive the reward.
NPAV research team has marked this campaign as a hacking attempt and requests users to be attentive and alert. Install NPAV on your devices to keep them safe and secure from all kinds of cyber attacks.
