Android malware is infecting various users around the globe

A new android malware is found to be targeting various users and stealing their data.

The malware is named “PhantomLance” and the data collected by it includes location, call logs, SMS history, contacts, the phone model, the OS version running, and also a list of other installed apps on the phone.

Their are various malicious applications that carry this malware. One of such application is listed below.

The malware deploys 3 different types of codes which go by version 1, version 2, and version 3. Each version uses a separate technique to avoid detection.
