NPAV research team has reported that hackers are spreading malicious Excel attachments via phishing emails targeting user credentials.
The email being circulated by hackers have a malicious Excel file attached to it which can be downloaded by users to view the content.
Upon opening the Excel file, users get a login popup with pre-filled email id and requesting for their respective password.
NPAV requests users to stop trusting these malicious attachments and emails. These emails and attachments are used by hackers to steal sensitive information such as login credentials and install malware.
Use NPAV and join us on a mission to secure the cyber world.
