Conor Brian Fitzpatrick, the 22-year-old founder of BreachForums, has been resentenced to three years in federal prison for operating one of the world’s largest cybercriminal marketplaces. BreachForums, launched in March 2022 as the successor to RaidForums, quickly grew to over 330,000 registered users and hosted more than 14 billion stolen records, including personally identifiable information and sensitive data from major breaches.

Fitzpatrick pleaded guilty to charges including access device conspiracy, solicitation, and possession of child sexual abuse material. As part of his plea agreement, he forfeited over 100 domain names, numerous electronic devices, and cryptocurrency proceeds tied to the illegal marketplace. The resentencing followed a court decision that vacated his original lenient sentence.
