Russian regional airline KrasAvia is facing a significant IT outage, believed to be caused by a cyberattack. Since early Friday, the airline’s website has been down, preventing passengers from booking tickets online. Customers are being redirected to offline ticket offices and travel agencies to purchase flights, causing inconvenience and frustration among travelers.

In response to the disruption, KrasAvia has switched all flight planning, crew assignments, and aircraft management tasks to manual processes. While no flights have been canceled, delays may occur as staff handle operations without their usual software systems. The airline is working around the clock to minimize the impact and ensure safety standards are maintained.

Although KrasAvia has not officially confirmed a cyberattack, reports and a leaked screenshot suggest an intentional hacking incident similar to a recent attack on Aeroflot. The airline is investigating the situation and will provide updates through its communication channels. This event underscores the growing cybersecurity challenges faced by the aviation sector.
