Veradigm Data Breach Exposes Patient Information
Veradigm has disclosed a data breach involving sensitive patient information after a third-party vendor’s credentials were compromised. The incident exposed data connected to patients, raising concerns about the security of healthcare information handled through external service providers.

The compromised information reportedly includes sensitive details such as names, addresses, dates of birth and Social Security numbers. The incident highlights how attackers can exploit trusted vendors and stolen credentials to gain access to valuable healthcare data.
Healthcare organizations need strong security controls across their own systems and third-party environments to reduce the risk of data exposure. Protecting sensitive information requires continuous monitoring, secure access controls and proactive endpoint security against evolving cyber threats.
