Probo marketed itself as a platform for "opinion trading," where users answered "yes or no" questions on various topics, such as sports outcomes. However, the ED determined that these questions functioned as games of chance, effectively making Probo an illegal betting platform.

Foreign Funding Trail

The investigation uncovered that Probo received ₹134.84 crore in funding from foreign entities, primarily from offshore locations like Mauritius and the Cayman Islands. Authorities are now examining these international financial connections.
