Russian Beluga Vodka Company by Novabev Group, Hit by Ransomware Attack

Russian Novabev Group, the parent company of Beluga vodka, confirmed a significant ransomware attack on July 14, 2025, which disrupted operations and affected IT infrastructure across the company and its WineLab subsidiary.

The company has refused to pay any ransom, maintaining a strict policy against negotiating with cybercriminals. The attack, described as “unprecedented” and “large-scale,” temporarily disabled parts of the IT systems, leading to the implementation of emergency protocols to restore normal operations.

In an official statement released on July 16, Novabev Group reported that customer personal data appears to be secure, with no evidence of compromise at this time. The company has formed a dedicated response team and engaged external cybersecurity experts to assist in the investigation and recovery efforts.
