Free Netflix subscription scam continues to trick users
2 months of free Netflix subscription at no cost is a scam launched by hackers to trick users.
NPAV recently reported that hackers are using the name of Netflix to lure the users towards a free subscription scam. A Whatsapp forward containing link for the malicious site is being forwarded by the hackers.
Clicking on the link opens "getmyflix.com" which is the malicious site controlled by hackers. This site has no connection with the official Netflix and is just for luring the users so that they fall into the trap. The site can be used for various malicious activities like stealing passwords, downloading malicious code to the victim's system, taking screenshots, etc.
Use NPAV and join us on a mission to secure the cyber world.
