Hackers continue using fake DHL emails to lure targets into phishing traps
Phishing emails using the name of DHL has been surfacing for a long period.
In a recent research NPAV labs has found that hackers and scammers are sending out repetitive fake emails by the name of DHL. DHL is a leading courier service provider and organization which operates around the globe.
In a recent email the hackers are notifying the users about a package that has arrived at a DHL facility which is addressed to them. The fake email requests users to track the package by checking the attached shipping document.
The email has a .html attachment which is hacker controlled. On opening the attachment, user is redirected to a fake DHL login portal which requests for user credentials.
