AIIMS Delhi reports that a new cyberattack was stopped.
On Tuesday, a new cyberattack attempted to target the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi was stopped.
The cyber-security systems in AIIMS, New Delhi, discovered a malware intrusion around 2:50 PM. The danger was neutralised by the deployed cyber-security measures after the effort was successfully foiled, tweeted the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi.
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (Cert-In) conducted a technical analysis of the AIIMS cyberattack earlier this year, which revealed that the government-run hospital's IT networks had been breached "by unknown threat actors due to improper network segmentation," according to Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the state minister for electronics and information technology.
Following the notification of the cyber-incident by AIIMS, Chandrasekhar claimed that the Cert In investigation showed that the attack, which was triggered by faulty network segmentation, "caused operational disruption due to non-functionality of critical applications."
