Phishing emails demanding payment and delivery related information are surfacing
Attackers are using various ways to target organizations via phishing emails.
The email asks the target for delivery and payment information and states that the information is required urgently. The attacker portrays himself as a customer who wants to place an order and requires all the listed information to do so.
The information requested by the attacker includes delivery period, payment terms, and shipment terms. Providing all this information to hackers simply mean that you are allowing them to steal information and money from you.
NPAV recommends users to never share any sensitive information like your bank details or address via such emails as they can be used by hackers against you.
Use NPAV and join us on a mission to secure the cyber world.
