Alerts of "MAILBOX PASSWORD RESET IN PROGRESS" is the new phishing campaign launched by cybercriminals

Attackers are sharing fake password reset alert emails to trick users into their traps.
The malicious email states that there is a password reset taking place for the user account which will result in disabling the old password of the user.
The email asks the user to not ignore the alert as the password will be reset shortly and in case the user has not requested for any such service, the request can be canceled by clicking on the cancel request button.
NPAV recommends user to ignore such emails and messages no matter how appealing they look. Before submitting or interacting with such emails please verify that they are from a trusted source or not.
Use NPAV and join us on a mission to secure the cyber world.
