Phishing scam! Fake virus alerts used by attackers to attain user passwords

Attackers are now using fake virus alerts to attract user attention and get access to their passwords.
NPAV researchers have recently found a phishing email circulating around the internet in which the attackers are claiming that the user is under virus attack.
This email contains a link to scan for virus, clicking on which will direct you to a web page which will further ask you for your password.
NPAV wants to alert the users that this is a mere phishing scam and the team suggests you to not provide any of your sensitive details to such web sites. 'WebProt' module of NPAV has already blocked the URL of the malicious site to keep the users safe.
Use NPAV and stay protected against such phishing scams.
