Password stealing attempt made by hackers via phishing email

A new phishing email requesting user password confirmation was found in user inboxes.

NPAV research team has detected a new phishing scam launched by hackers to steal passwords. The phishing email contains an alert message stating that the user’s account password is going to expire within a day.

The email contains a redirection link to a hacker-controlled web page that requests users to enter their passwords. Once the password is entered by the user, hackers can gain full control over their accounts.
