Phishing emails impersonating “DHL” courier services are being circulated by hackers

Phishing scammers are forwarding fake “DHL” service notifications to trap users.

DHL is one of the established and trusted courier service around the globe. Hackers are impersonating DHL notification emails and are using them for phishing scams.

In a recent research, NPAV lab found that the hackers are notifying the users about their packages not being delivered due to incorrect address. The email requests users to take the printout of the invoice attached so that the parcel does not gets delivered to an incorrect address.

The file attached in the email is malicious and may lead to installation of malware in your system. NPAV recommends users to never download any such attachments or submit any of their sensitive data through the links forwarded via such emails.
